This last episode was in my opinion, flat out terrible for Halo fans. I'm someone who is all for separate timelines but some of the stuff in this episode just completely goes against what Halo is. I've been ok with most of the stuff up to this latest episode, but this one just broke me. Again, this is just in my opinion. And to be fair, there were 1 or 2 cool parts.
I'm a massive halo fan, and apart from THAT section lol, i enjoyed the rest of the episode. That being said i am totally onboard with the new spin/alt story they have for the TV Show, but can understand others wanting it more aligned with the game lore/characters.

Well at least now Halo 5 is not the worst halo story
The one negative of the episode isnt enough to tank the entire story. Though I do think Kwans arc is worse then Halo 5 so

Obviously, I think they went the worst possible route. Kai would have made more sense if they needed such a thing. She has known chief almost their entire lives, are lit going through the same emotional reawakening, and are both giants. Mahkee was kidnapped and can touch things too. I get what they want to do with it. It just undermines too much to be anything of worth. IMO, ignore the scene and the episode is immensely better for it

There were only three extended demos (God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone). Everything else was a gameplay trailer, no CGI. Making a showcase that good is certainly achievable.One of the reasons Sony e3 2016 held to such a standard is cuz there's like 4-5 full on 5-9 minute gameplay demos in that thing. And they themselves ain't top that since. That's kinda what I want from this show we've known about a lot of these Microsoft games for years I think we all deserve some gameplay

I think Redfall, Starfield, Forza Motorsport, Pentiment are basically guaranteed for gameplay. Yea gameplay it's time a lot of what you listed been announced for two years or more now it's time. Eh, it's pretty realistic to expect a lot of gameplay/trailers with gameplay. I just don't expect Hellblade 2/PD gameplay there.
I also expect gameplay from unnanounced stuff like Belfry, for example.

If things are looking a bit rough that far out from release - and we know games tend to come together quite late in development - better not to show gameplay IMO. Personally don't enjoy wading through the "________ looks like trash!" narratives.
Depends what is shown obviously, but anything hitting next year i have no issue with seeing something for it in june, and as for others trash comments i have no issue ignoring them, i do that every day online lol.

MachineGames has a game code named "Relic", that is not Indiana Jones, in the Nvidia leak scheduled for late 2022.
There are two LinkedIn pages that we've found that are working on unannounced project at MachineGames, alongside Indiana Jones.

It checks a box and has 0 effect on the rest of the episode. Its inclusion makes no sense besides needing a sex scene quota. It does not ruin the episode for me though as they basically ditch the plot point almost immediately. It may come up later but prob in a way you could predict if you know how the rest of the episode goes.Obviously, I think they went the worst possible route. I'm actually surprised no one - as far as I've seen - is not mad about the whole "Master Chief/Makee" are somewhat special in regards to Forerunner tech... like that particular plot device couldn't be any worse.
ehhh that one can at least be argued to make sense. You could argue that given forerunner genesongs, only those with forerunner lineage (in a sense) can actually activate the forerunner tech. So, while humans are meant to have the mantil of responsability, only those with forerunner genesongs can use forerunner stuff. It was generally inferred Halsey has The Librarians genesong and Chief has the iso-Didacts.
So, while its still plays into the "im special" nonsense, you could at least make it work. Though, to be fair, Chief in general had the "im special" nonsense only it was described to something as dumb as luck and further evolved into genesongs in Halo 4 when the librarian essentially used it to make him immune to the composer
